Upgrade to 1.8.2 causes Drive to spin then eject disc

Just upgraded to makemkv 1.8.2 from 1.8.1 with purchased key. After upgrading my external blu-ray drive (LG WP50NB40 with Libre 1.0 firmware) just spins trying to load the disc, it will then eject the disc out. I cannot get MakeMKV to recognize the LG drive. Everything was working just fine until I upgraded to 1.8.2.

Troubleshooting done:
Restart mac mini m4 with macOS tahoe
tried numerous different 4k discs
uninstalled and then reinstalled MakeMKV.
Tried different power source and usb port

Does anyone have any suggestions? Anyone experienced this same issue?

I assume you mean 1.18.2. Just go back to 1.18.1 if that works for you. I'm still on 1.17.6 myself.
