Hello, I decided that I'm going to start using DVDfab for when I want to make ISO rips. but for some reason I keep getting this message when launching it. should I just ignore it? I never actually used my drive to rip 4k blu-rays. but it should be able to because it's a libredrive with a patched firmware that I bought a while ago. https://imgur.com/Sd2CXZR

Billy,

I would suggest that he crossflashes his drive to LG BH16NS60 1.00. This should work with all three softwares. Your opinion?

I use the same drive for making isos with dvdfab and i have no problems i think i had that message first time clicked ignore i mostly make 4k UHD isos and don't have any problems using 3.10 patched i love make mkv i use that for my plex server
i recommend to purchase make mkv to support mike and all his hard work.
you can use make mkv and imagburn to make a iso. but has some AACS protection on it then mount it and then make iso with dvdfab to remove remaing copy protection.
i use the make mkv and imgburn method to make iso of problem disc using pioneer drive.

Oh… the person that I bought the drive from recommended that I flash my drives firmware to 3.01. but I guess I don’t have to.

What do you mean by problem discs? do some 4K blu-rays just not rip sometimes using DVDfab to make an ISO?
I Already own a copy of MakeMKV. so I could just make a BDMV backup if that ever happens to me.

whats the point of buy a drive from someone if it does not flashed to what you need it to be flashed to
if you buy from me or marty or asmcom it would have come with the firmware you need
