I am unsure if I did it correctly. I read the tutorials, downloaded the required files and ran the application. made a backup and then ran the the file for my machine. Can anyone inform me if I succeeded or not? Thank you for your time.

Can't tell from this.
I can tell you you will still have the sleep bug you did not follow my recommend firmware.
But if your drive still sees discs your fine if not you didn't read the requirements

Ok, so what was the recommended? I read the best I could and used the software. I backed up. Understand that this is all foreign to me so understanding is a learning process for me. Discs read as far as CDs go. Have not had a chance to test anything else. I was unsure what the sleep bug was or how it occurs.Billycar11 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 05, 2021 9:11 pmCan't tell from this.

Re: LG WH14NS40: Did I do it correctly?
Thank you Billycar11 for taking the time to help me out. I did indeed notice a speed change in ripping CDs after I did the second and last update to what you recommended.
