I have compiled a big personal collection of movie blue-rays and regular DVDs.
I now would like to use my new 16" M2 MacBook Pro to make a digital backup copy of all of them (probably using Handbrake).
Can you suggest a decent external blue-ray player for USB-C/Thunderbolt that works well on a modern Ventura MacBook Pro for all the above medias?
It would also be nice if I could watch the movies blue-rays and regular DVDs directly from disk on the MacBook and I don't need a burner/writer, just a player/reader.
What do I need to watch out for when purchasing one?
