Mike,

I have a Pioneer BDR-XD07UHD drive with firmware ID05. When I tried to open the 4K UHD "Monster Hunters" disc, I receive the following error message. "Can't read AACS VID from disc - most likely current AACS host certificate is revoked by your drive".

Also, the LibreDrive Status is "Possible, not yet enabled". Is there plans to enable it for my drive?

Currently cannot be done as the firmware is too new. Any firmware from 12/22 is the issue as Pioneer has done something to stop UHD from working.

It's a waiting game and has been a year and a half so far. It may happen. It may never happen. We don't know yet ..

Your best bet is to return the drive if possible and if you want a pioneer, get one from a seller in your region.
