Hello there
i have been Reading through a lot of the forum trying to find the best drive to rip blu-ray and maybe 4K's aswell - and its seems like a jungle....so any suggestions ?

BU40N or UHD pioneer is what i recommend

If you want to use the drive via USB you should get an USB 3 enclosure. USB 2 would still be fast enough for optical drives but you could run into problems with lacking power. USB 3 will be the safer choice. However, there are rare reports of lacking power with USB 3 but then you can use an active USB 3 hub in between the enclosure and the PC.
