So I'm thinking about buying a UHD blu ray burner from ebay (shipping from china)

Firmware is pre 12/2022, and its a UHD model. Here's the info. Its a Pioneer BDR-S11JX drive.

The seller in China actually sent you the MakeMKV information about the drive?

I can imagine that some sellers are aware of their wrong playing competitors and this could be a way to to differentiate theirself.
And with the ebay buyer protection could it be a good and safe deal.
