Hey guys,

I just bought a BDR-212V, and would like to enable UHD. Here is the info I see on MakeMKV:

Drive Information
OS device name: D:
Manufacturer: PIONEER
Product: BD-RW BDR-212V
Revision: 1.02
Serial number: (redacted)
Firmware date: 2022-05-31
Bus encryption flags: 13

LibreDrive Information
Status: Possible, not yet enabled
Drive platform: Pioneer RS8F00
Firmware version: ID06

I saw some posts with similar drives (firmware version, etc.). Could you please PM instructions on how to flash the drive? Thank you!

And yes we checked that wit LG WH16NS58 1.V5 and VPTools. All newer multilayer discs after Verbatim moved the equipment to Taiwan have issues at the layer break. 50 Gb Ritek are still Ok. Were. These tests are 2 years old. Advice: Stop burning discs!
I wanted backup My family videos from CAM (15 years recording) to BD.
Hm i must consider recording to BD's ...

I see in a post above, that Vinpower Australia is now selling drives with newer fw.
Not sure if USA Amazon seller RUNTECHMEDIA supply of compatible Vinpower/Pioneer 212 will last much longer as well.
