yes this ^ it was a rare case where on older fw he couldn't burn discs and needed anydvd comparability ns60 no work with ns60

And only crossflashing ASUS and LG. Keeping it in the family doesn't have those problems. The AnyDVD compatibility issue is true....for the moment.

The only thing I'm bummed about that I can't make a backup of my 1.04 firmware. I got an error when I tried all three options, full, auto, and...the other one) That's normal not to be able to save a copy of the original firmware when your current version is 1.04?
