OEM HL-DT-ST:BD-RE BU40N CB05 not accepting MK firmware

Hi,

I’m unable to flash a BU40N OEM internal slim drive with the libredrive firmware. Flashing reports successful, but after power cycling, the drive still shows “Possible, not yet enabled”, and the CB05 version.

I’ve directly connected it to my motherboard with a SATA cable.

Using Makemkv 1.17.6 from:
