Hello,
I'm in need of a little help with this drive. It's currently patched with v1.02 and is consistently having read errors when backing up with MakeMKV. I've read that there is a v1.03 for this drive. Any info on the flashing process, updated version the "All You Need Firmware Pack"? Maybe I did it wrong the first time?

No, your drive is flashed correctly and the firmware is not your issue.Farsideman wrote: ↑Mon Feb 09, 2026 10:51 pmHello,

It would have been much more helpful if you would copy and paste the MakeMKV log window text when you get a failed rip.
Anyway, you can start by cleaning the disc. Most UHD discs require cleaning before they can be ripped, especially when new as they often have an invisible layer of film on them from the manufacturing process.
Cheers
