Pioneer firmware update February 2023

Hi there, posting on here because my driver platform says "Pioneer". Honestly I am really new to this and doing my best to figure it out, but am lost. I tried to SDF tool and it says that the drive platform was MT1959 and wouldn't work. So then I tried the Asus modified tool and that didn't work either. That said "Erorr 1". Please help. Main computer is a mac, but I have an old windows 10 machine that works great.

Your drive should already be UHD capable but I will send instructions to update your firmware. Region resetting and region free is not possible but most softwares like Makemkv, AnyDVD and XReveal don't care if a disc is from a different region.
