Hi -- I have the following. I tried to follow the advice I could find, and got an older Pioneer drive with firmware from 2019. I assume it's flashable. Just need the tools to do it. Finding the tools is what I'm not entirely clear on.

I cannot rip using my BD-RW BDR-XD06U. It was said that it works with the firmware 1.11. Should I upgrade the firmware to 1.11?

When I try to rip it says

No. Firmware is post 11/2022. You will have to wait for future support.

1. Pioneer drives cannot be flashed using MakeMKV's SDFtool. The Pioneer flashing tool is not publicly available.
2. Even if you can get LibreDrive enabled, it will not be able to read UHD discs as it is too old an incompatible.

Got it.

If possible, I'd be content to flash this into a regular, non-UHD LibreDrive BR drive.

Otherwise, I guess it's a spare DVD reader.
