It very well could be that I'm missing something, but from what I've read on these forums, my drive should be able to read a UHD disk because it is enabled for LibreDrive. Am I wrong? Do I still need to do some extra flashing to get this to work? I have two UHD disks that just give a status of "No disk" when I put it into MakeMKV v1.17.8.

Libredrive does not equal UHD compatibility!!timjohnson408 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 15, 2024 1:37 pmIt very well could be that I'm missing something, but from what I've read on these forums, my drive should be able to read a UHD disk because it is enabled for LibreDrive. Are you sure you followed the instructions by the book? And no disc in drive and tray closed?timjohnson408 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 18, 2024 2:16 pmI went through the tutorial but am getting "Failed to enter kernel mode." I'm on a Windows 10 PC and tried running BDRFlash as admin and also tried rebooting.
Re: Pioneer BDR-208D - "No disk" for UHD
isn't that usually a problem with UHD?

Calm down. Others did that before and called themselves the same. Until now I had no unsuccessful attempt in the end. Happy UHD ripping!timjohnson408 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 18, 2024 6:23 pmAhhhhhhI'm an idiot. I initially read your DM about removing the disk but forgot when I got around to actually flashing it.
