flashing WH16NS40 v1.03 SVC CODE NS50

I've been looking through the forum for updating these drives and its not clear if the 1.03 can be flashed to the libredrive firmware. I believe thats 1.02. this is a LG desktop 5.25 drive. (LG WH16NS40 ). verified the firmware version with makemkv and it matches.
mfg date is june 2018. I do have the latest marty flasher v1.3.5 and the "all you need firmware pack".
drive platform from makemkv shows MT1959

it was my understanding you shouldnt downgrade the flash if past a certain version, hence why i was asking.
just wanted to verify that HL-DT-ST-BD-RE_WH16NS60-1.02-NM00100-211810291936 is the correct firmware to flash to...
since its 1.03 to 1.02.

yeah flash WH16NS60 1.02 MK as guide says it still upto date for LG/asus junk

Thanks. used the "all you need firmware pack" and flashed to 1.02 successfully. tested with makemkv and a bluray disk and works correctly.

I got the drive for pennies at an auction and recognized the model. I did purchase a pioneer from you probably back in june 2023. no problems at all with that drive.

i expected makemkv to show the firmware as 1.02mk, but is showing 1.02.

should i look for the 1.02mk to flash it ? unsure what the benefit is. keep reading about the sleep bug, but unsure if this drive has it. lg wh16ns40 svc code ns50. fw was 1.03, now reads 1.02.
