Best Firmware for my ODD?

I have been using the Asus Bw-16d1ht for a while with minimal errors. I have been using the 3.10MK firmware. But I saw someone say they have had good success with cross flashing it with an LG firmware( WH16NS60 )?
Should I try this? If so anything dangerous about cross flashing?

If it is working good, then leave it be.

Otherwise, cross-flashing to LG firmware will mean possible disc writing issues. Also, WH16NS60 firmware does not work with AnyDVD (if that's an issue) or DVDFab (unless you use v1.00).
