The main website FAQ page appears to be broken. It gives me the following error:

https://makemkv.com/faq/

Yes, it is broken. No, it's not something new - it gets reported about 2 to 3 times per month. The owner hasn't fixed it in the couple of years since it broke.

Hmm...maybe the mods should sticky that information.

Let me guess, same person?

Oh well, thanks for the response! :D

Actually, I could make a sticky for it, but... stickies are for people who actually read the forum. If you look at the existing stickies, you'll see they're ignored by a LOT of people. And, technically, this is an intermittent problem that just keeps happening. At first, it was a couple of times a year, but now it's "always". Some links actually work, but the general one doesn't.

It's not something I can fix, since it goes beyond the forum. Maybe you're right, though - a sticky would be possible. Choosing a subject that would catch people's eyes is a problem, though. Let's see if this subject works. :)

I don't know if this is helpful either for the site admins, or for visitors, but the Wayback Machine did archive the FAQ page. The most recent one that works is from Apr 6 2022 and here's a link to it: https://web.archive.org/web/20220406220 ... v.com/faq/
