Is the host down or under Service Attack?

When I load the application the automatic check for updates fails and causes the application to return a error dialog window "Application failed to initialie NO_ANSWER_FROM MAKEMKVCON". Notice the CON rather than COM? I try to uninstall and reinstall and the website points me to some God forsaken heathen Russian web site. Any ideas?

For Your Information. I have resolved my issue with Makemkv not being able to access your home site to check for updates on startup. It appears some Malware had landed on my computer that was intended to make the Makemkv application fail. I resolved the problem by restoring from my latest system backup and Makemkv is executing perfectly again.
