Problems downloading through Microsoft Edge

I tried to download the latest file with Microsoft Edge
I try to save it to a specific folder and see the following message

Setup_MakeMKV_v1.16.6.exe isn't commonly downloaded
Make sure you trust Setup_MakeMKV_v1.16.6.exe before you open it

The file sits in the folder as

file file type
Unconfirmed 574326,crdownload CRDOWNLOAD File

If I click on it it asks what app I want to open it with
There is a box of options Delete, Keep, report this file as safe, learn more, copy downloaded link
I didn't want to report it without consulting you.

I was able to download thru Mozilla I installed it even though I got a warning message about unknown publisher.

There was no version "1.16.6" released, so your problem is that you're trying to download something that doesn't exist.

1.16.5 was released in July of 2021. 1.16.7 was released in February of 2022. Neither is current.

My typo, it should have read MAKEMKV_v1.17.6.exe

The latest version for windows.

I recall something similar, but get that message often with downloaded software (Windows 10 and Edge). I trusted the download and clicked proceed.
