overcome encryption globally using VLC player
I am not a pro at adapting softwares to integrate, but I'[m not a dummy, either. not quite. But I want to start the global encryption beating of MKV in the computer I use, so I might play an encrypted disc (DVD) with VLC Player. I kknow part of the setting are done in settings tab of MKV and on the integration tab, but after that I'm lost as to what needs done in VLC Player. Is there any kind of step by step guide available.?? craigmoviedad@yahoo.com

Not sure if you're asking about DVD region lock settings or DVD CSS/CPPM protection?
What about just ripping the DVD to MKV using MakeMKV, and then play the MKV file instead?

Nothing, it would just work. But this is for Blu-ray and UHD only.cpoorbaugh1 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 05, 2020 11:30 pmI kknow part of the setting are done in settings tab of MKV and on the integration tab, but after that I'm lost as to what needs done in VLC Player.

You just click open disc and then select Blu-ray
no menus may be required for some movies
