Nice, thank you I believe the dev is ok but busy. His last forum post is from August 4th when he updated the beta key. The last MakeMKV version was also released only a month ago.

be aware that, as this was posted, there is an outage at one of Amazon's cloud centers, which can affect DNS resolution for some users.

MakeMKV.com does not require "www", and the site is working at this time.

FYI, something changed because I can now only get to the site using www.makemkv.com. With out the www now issues a site time out.

Using FORUM for the host name, you're back to cloudflare.

Most likely, you have a geoblock on Russian IPs.

For me, all three host names work, because I don't geoblock Russia as a whole.

Having the same russian error message when attempting to navigate to makemkv.com to download the latest release. I don't see an actual resolution to this this time last year, does anybody know what happened and how it got fixed?

Probable reasons for site blocking:

- ended the payment of hosting (not domain!). You need to replenish the balance. Payment for hosting is written off daily from the balance of your account.
- Your site is blocked for violating the rules of hosting. If you have broken the rules, go to your personal account and check the "Messages" section. There may be complaints.

I found out about makemkv for the first time today about playing bluray on Mac etc, was very excited, went to download the software and have been unable to do it as their website is unaccessible. Any thoughts/help?

In light of recent world affairs, seems like hosting needs to be moved to another jurisdiction where payments to the hosting provider won't violate sanctions or otherwise support behavior that has no place in a civilized world.

At least set up some mirrors or something so everything doesn't break due to unforeseen events.

I see the same thing. Bills not paid. I'm a registered lifetime user and I believe I got the last version that was accessible. I went to just check to see if there were updates. One of the best and highly used programs ever used, I really hope this isn't the end.

Finally checked back after a year or two 100% ready to finally pull the trigger on a license only to find the website redirecting to Russian hosting provider. What's happening? The earlier trick with www over CF is not working anymore. Any updates from mike?
