Help with Buffalo drive

I bought this drive. It showed up in makemkv as :

looking good. but thats as far as it gets. it cant actually read any blu ray or uhd blu ray disc. when i put one in i get:

Yep, as Billy said, clean the discs. Even if they look pristine, give'em a clean! UHD discs often have an invisible layer of film on them from the manufacturing process that needs to be wiped off.

Also, let Windows initialise the disc and you can see it in explorer before you open the MakeMKV application.

I started working with same disc no cleaning. I really have no idea. I think I power cycled. Not sure wat was going on but it works. Thanks!
