Questions about Pioneer BDR-212EBK (S12J-X firmware) – UHD ripping, enclosure, M-DISC

Hello everyone,
I’m from Italy, please excuse my English (I had some help from ChatGPT).
I recently purchased the following drive:
Pioneer BDR-212EBK – 4K UHD Friendly, cross-flashed to firmware BDR-S12J-X.
I would like to ask a few questions about how to use it properly and safely.
Below I also link the MakeMKV drive information screenshot:

My questions:
Is this drive fully compatible with ripping my Blu-ray discs, including 4K UHD, using MakeMKV?
Will it work correctly under Windows 11?
I have space in my desktop PC, but I would also like to use it as an external drive.
Can you recommend a good external enclosure for this model?
(the Vantec NexStar DX2 is ok ? )
Does this drive need to be reflashed, or should I keep it as it is?
The firmware date is 2022. Do you know whether this drive uses a plastic or glass lens?
I plan to use it for ripping Blu-ray and CD-Audio from my collection,
and also for writing M-DISC to archive my photos.
Do you have any general advice, recommendations, or suggested changes to my setup?
Thank you very much for your help.
