Havent seen this yet posted on here but randomly in between ripping UHD discs (with LG BP50NB40 flashed to BP60NB10), I will put in the new disc and all of a sudden the drive doesnt show up in explorer and MakeMKV will show "No drive found". Even if I unplug the drive for a bit and plug it in again, it still doesnt see it.

However if I insert a regular 1080p blu ray disc, unplug and plug in the drive again it will recognize the disc and drive in both explorer and MakeMKV at which point I just switch it again for the UHD disc and I can continue ripping. Hope this helps!

Sounds like it isn't gettting enough power at times. UHD discs are far greater in data density and the drive requires more constant power to read them.

If using the USB-A y-cable, ensure both plugs are connected. Don't use case ports. Use either ports direct from the motherboard (USB-C is better if you can) or an AC powered USB hub of at least 24w.
