Hi,

As the title says I want to save my UHD movies to my pc hard drive to be more confortable picking what movie to see rather than changing disks everytime I decide to watch a new movie from my collection.

Is it possible? What hardware and software do I need?

Many thanks.

A computer that runs Linux, MacOS, or Windows. A drive that can read the disk. MakeMKV to use those to read the disks, and write them to your computer's hard drives. Playback software that can access those drives and output to a video monitor.

You will find quite a number of programs that do that last part, from fancy like Plex Server/player, to simple. Your choice.

What is the best external drive? Can someone sell me an already flashed drive? I live in Portugal.

Many thanks

Asmcom probably can when their shop re-opens in February. https://forum.makemkv.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=19387

MartyMcNuts might do so. I don't know if he ships to Portugal. https://forum.makemkv.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=18747
