Hi all,
Just used the Flash GUI to flash this drive. Followed the steps as shown. Flashed to 1.03, then recovered to BU40N 1.0. And now nothing. It wont read any disc and I have to force eject it. Just spins forever "reading" the disc no matter if its a UHD or not. Attached is a screenshot of the drive info on MakeMKV. All help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Noah

I'm not sure why you tried the BU40N firmware?

Shouldn't matter. I also prefer BU40N 1.00 over any BP60NB10 firmware and is what I put on these drives.
Yoghurtty, how old is the drive? What's the manufacture date on the sticker underneath the drive? Are you sure it is SVC NB50?

The drive was manufactured April of 2018 and the box says SVC Code: NB50. Thanks for the help!

I just tried to flash it again using Powershell instead of the GUI and its still doing the same. I reflashed it to DE_LG_BP50NB40-NB50_1.03_MK and then flashed it to DE_LG_BP60NB10-NB12_1.02-MK incase the BU40N bin was the issue and it still says its on an unpatched version of BU40N 1.0 even after flashing back to DE_LG_BP50NB40-NB50_1.03_MK it still said it was BU40N 1.0. I dont know what to do at this point. I've reached out to Billycar11 twice to no response but hopefully he'll get back to me and I can pay him to flash it. Thanks all!

To go from BU40N back to BP50NB40 firmware you can't just flash it normally, you have to use the recover method.
