Just for my knowledge, the Pioneer 208D drive so far max reads at 4X with the new firmware when ripping, so far on the 4K discs I've archived. Is this the max read speed for 4K discs on MakeMKV, for the 208D drive on this firmware?

I was wondering about this drive as I've seemed to find an issue with it MakeMKV.

Tried an encrypted & decrypted rip of a regular Blu-ray disc, no problem.
Tried an encrypted rip of a UHD disc, no problem.

When I attempt a decrypted rip of a UHD disc, they all come with the error,
"The volume key is unknown for this disc - video can't be decrypted. Backup failed."

I was trying to read the forums for a solution, but it's not entirely clear how to use the 'discatt.dat' file, and how to decrypt an encrypted copy I already made, and what I am supposed to do on MakeMKV to accomplish this. How do I overcome this issue so I be able to play or edit/convert the video files on say Handbrake?

It opens the tray after pressing the button only with disc inside. Without disc it trys to unlock but without success. When I use the emergency opening only to unlock and press the button the try opens and close without a problem also.

I've not so much expierience to comprehend the several mechanic connections. I can push manually the white slider which is moving the laser plattform and opens the tray.
This part also is pushing a little blue slider? Is the problem to find there?

What can I do?

What can I do?

It's either a mechanical problem that the tray is obstructed somewhow or the switch for opening has a problem. If you depress the button the tray has to open regardless if a disc is in the drive or not. Only the other way around it is possible that if certain software uses the disc in the drive that the opening button can be blocked. Try to depress the button from several angles and if it tries to open but can not, try to move the tray from the outside with a little screwdriver up, down or sideways. Report back.
