Flashed new Asus drive but...

Hello everyone,
I just bought a new ASUS Bw-16d1ht because my old LG drive is broken.
But that's not all, I built a new PC, a new OS (Windows 11).
I quietly installed MakeMKV and my licence, and I flashed the drive with "ASUS-BW-16D1HT-3.10-WM01601-211901041014.bin" from the famous "The all you need firmware pack.zip"
So everything seems clear but when I try to backup a BR I can't read it --> Cannot render the file using MPC-HC.
I certainly missed something but I don't know what.
If a good soul can point the right direction

For ripping you need to use Makemkv. MPC is only for playing and you need to activate playing in Makemkv. View Preferences Integration.

Maybe I wasn't clear enough.
I used MakeMKV to backup My BR disc.
It's once ripped to my SSD that I got the message "Cannot render the file".
It seems to be encrypted :/

did you make a mkv or a folder backup?
if you did a folder backup did you check decrypt?

Oh my god, it was just that, I forgot to click on decrypt while I backuped a disc :/
6 years on the same PC got my brain melting

But if I got a suggestion to tell to the dev, click the decrypt box always on.
Once again thank you !

FYI if you just forgot to check it you could have reopened it from the rip and then decrypt it so save your optical drive from some wear
And it would be much faster
