The Ultimate UHD Drives Flashing Guide is kept up to date with all the instructions and links to the tools and files you need to flash your drive. It is pretty dense, so you might have to read it twice to fully understand what's in there.

Your drive is a BU40N. Assuming your drive meets the criteria to flash (listed at the top of the post), the guide says to flash a "BU40N on any Firmware directly to > BU40N 1.03MK".

If you're on Windows, the SDFtool GUI makes it fairly easy to do. You can find a link to that tool in the Guide.

LibreDrive Information

Any clues how to fix this?

Does your drive have the controller chip described below?

PSA: New Archgon UHD drives do not allow flashing

The new Archgons can't be flashed in the enclosure. You can take the drive out of the enclosure and connect it via mini sata? i think and flash it that way.

Well, someone already mentioned on the forum in a similar post, that the newer controllers are the problem. I've already had an older version of the same drive and simply swapped the enclosure & the flashing worked fine.
But still, thank you for the effort.
