Hello there, will the current Pioneer drives that have the latest firmware, later than 2023 be ever compatible with LibreDrive??
Will future versions of MKV eventually catch up with these current "locked" drives to finally enable them to rip UHD discs???
If I have a non compatible, non-flashable Pioneer drive, do you guys recommend me to keep just until a new MakeMKV/Libredrive version is released or try to sell it??
Thanks in advance..gh

Well, it has apparently been worked on for more than 2 years now and still doesn't appear to be any progess, therefore, I would not hold my breath. It's looking more and more unlikely to happen now, especially since Pioneer are now getting out of the optical drive game.
