ASUS BW-16D1H-U Pro Pioneer BDR-212T 4K capable?

I have used my "ASUS BW-16D1H-U Pro" to rip my blu-ray collection over the last 4 years.
I was wondering if this disc drive is able to read and rip 4k UHD discs.

I have that same ASUS external drive (BW-16D1H-U) and am happy to report it was successfully 'flashed' by Frank (who offers this service somewhere on this site...sorry, not very familiar with it) remotely...and I'm on a Mac! Just wanted to let folks know as I too didn't pay close attention to the exact model of the ASUS drive I purchased...but, as it turns out, was indeed 4K / UHD 'friendly'!
