Buffalo BRUHD-PU3-BK Red Light

Post by Coaster »

Greetings. My name is Izach.

I have been using my BRUHD-PU3-BK for over a year now and it has worked great to play and rip movies. When I got it, I flashed it myself using the guide. And everything just worked. DVD, Blu-Ray, and 4K rips went without issue. I also use the drive fairly often as my main disc drive. But a few weeks ago, I was exploring some Blu-Ray menus when after just a few movies, the status light turned red, and I have not been able to use it since. I currently have the thick cable plugged into one of my USB 3.0 ports and the thinner one in a regular port. This is what used to work. I have tried plugging both cables into USB 3.0 and still no dice. I have also tried on other computers where there are no other USB devices and it persists to not work.

Any advice would welcomed as you probably know how hard it is to find support info from Buffalo themselves.

Thanks in advance,
Izach
