As every other newbie stumbled upon what is needed.
Debug log shows only this:
Tried with few Blu-ray, UHD which a standard player reads with no issues. The BDR-XD08EMB-S keeps endlessly spinning.

Troubleshooting Steps Taken:
- Verified disk and drive detection on Linux.
- Checked for firmware updates or patches - this is where I am not clear what else is needed.
- Ensured proper permissions for /dev/sr1.
- Tested with multiple Blu-ray discs to rule out disk-specific issues.
- Enabled debug logging in MakeMKV.
- Reviewed relevant posts on MakeMKV forums but have not found a resolution.
- Recommendations for resolving the issue with the current PIONEER BD-RW BDR-XD08EMB-S drive.
- Firmware or configuration adjustments to enable LibreDrive and successful ripping of 4K UHD Blu-rays.
