Possible to crossflash BDR-XD08B?

So I purchased a Pioneer BDR-XD08B by mistake as the seller had listed it as a BDR-XD08UMB-S (the power was on and a 4k Bluray disc was visibly in the drive bay so I ignored the sticker showing the SKU)
I'm wondering if this can be crossflashed to play back/rip 4k discs.

Tool worked. Funny enough, LibreDrive didn't detect the crossflash as a firmware modification, but it does read 4k discs now.

That's because Pioneer firmware is stock, not modified at all. Libredrive is enabled on certain Pioneer firmware versions.
