I bought a pioneer bdr-213T a few months ago and am using a 2015 Mac book pro with Monterey. Today the drive won’t read any disks however it was reading fine just a few days ago. Any idea? Didn’t change anything on the system.

How it's connected to the notebook?
Even the read in doesn't work?

It sees the drive but doesn’t read the disk and spits it out. Just the usb type cable that came with the casing. I switched it with another cable of the same type and no change. Tried it on n100 pc and still didn’t read it he Blu-ray’s. Both see the drive though

Seems that the drive is defect. You can try cleaning the lenses (disconnect any cable before opening) but I've no another idea. Sorry. Perhaps another member has an idea.

Have you only tried blu-rays in the drive? Does is read a regular CD or DVD?
CDs & DVDs use a different laser than a blu-ray or UHD.
