LG BP60NB10 does not read every Blu-ray

Hey everyone!
I bought the LG BP60NB10 recently, patched it successfully but had a bad experience playing a lot of Blu-rays... not even ripping them.
First I tried to rip the first Blu-Ray of Miami Vice... which worked expect one episode always had an error.
Then I moved on and tried to read a Blu-Ray from Depeche Mode, no region code, nothing... and the LG could not even read the Blu-Rays TOC.
I started to think I made a mistake and patched the drive the wrong way.
I took the Depeche Mode Blu-Ray to a friend who had an Xbox... it played there immediately... no issues.
Then I tried to play a Blu-Ray from Peter Gabriel, the latest album that comes with a 5.1 Version of his album. It worked but it was super jerky. I had to try it several times.
In the end I sent the drive back and got a replacement, finally. The same LG BP60NB10 drive. However, I did not patch it yet, but... the same issues pertain.
The Depeche Mode disk can still not be played... it is not a special Blu-Ray at all.
Is the LG BP60NB10 a cheap/bad drive... could it be my Windows 11 installation? Should I return the drive completely and get a different one?
I never thought that just playing a Blu-Ray would be such a hassle, let alone rip one.
Any thoughts on this matter are appreciated.
