Is LG WH16NS60 MK firmware safe to flash on an Asus drive ?

Hello, please forgive me if this question has already been asked and answered somewhere in the forum.
I have an Asus B16D1HT which I flashed successfully with the 3.10 MK firmware. Works okay to make MKVs, but is it still supposed (with this 3.10 MK firmware) to have the sleep bug ?
If yes, I see in the "Ultimate UHD Drives Flashing Guide Updated 2023" the following line:
"To fix the sleep bug on a UHD Friendly drive flash firmware from an UHD Official drive like WH16NS60 DE 1.00 or 1.01MK 1.02MK 1.03MK"
So, my question is: is this safe for my drive to flash an LG firmware onto an Asus drive ?

Yes it's safe but you may lose the ability to burn

Okay, thks for the reply.
Also, I see in the same "Ultimate UHD Drives Flashing Guide Updated 2023" the following line:
"Flashing Official UHD firmware to a UHD Friendly drive will not enable Powerdvd aacs 2 decryption or playback"
Does this mean that the drive, not the software, does the decryption ?
If it were the software (Powerdvd) how would it know that it has a "non-official" drive ?
And, more to the point:
- does it apply to Powerdvd only, or to other software as well (VLC ...) ?
- does it apply to UHD discs only ?
- how am I to know whether a disc is encoded with aacs 2 ? Is it the case with all UHD discs, or ... does makeMKV report this somewhere ?
