Hey everyone quick question and update about my last post, I chose to get a dvd drive first since a blu ray drive is out of my budget at the moment. I found a Samsung SH-D 163 BEBP from 2007 for 5 bucks at a thrift store and I am wondering if it works with makemkv.

If not does anyone have budget friendly dvd drive recommendations for me?
