BUFFALO BRUHD-PU3-BK not flashing at all!

I have downgraded my BUFFALO BRUHD-PU3-BK once and it has been working fine but recently, it is giving me all sorts of issues reading UHD discs.

I thought to flash it to 1.03 MK firmware but Asus modified tool gives me Updating Failure #5 error and SDFtool seems to flash fine BUT no real effect appears. Firmware is still the same and doesn't change.

What can I do to really flash my drive to 1.03 and is it the best firmware for my drive?

Thanks!

Here is a screenshot for my drive's specs:

I did follow the guide and used SDFtool but it has no effect at all even though it shows FW has been updated.

It could be the Buffalo case. You may need to remove the drive.

Okay, reinstalled makemkv and flashed the drive and it said operation finished successfully BUT... drive still shows the old FW so it seems the flashing actually did NOTHING.
