ASUS BW-16D1HT - Any reason to go from 3.03 to 3.10?

I've had this drive for a while now and it seems to be working well but I noticed I seem to be on an old firmware 3.03_211801191558 (Firmware date: 2118-01-19 15:58)

In the mk-firmware-pack-20200720 I see there is a version of 3.10-WM01601-211901041014.

Should I upgrade? Is there some feature, compatibility, or rip speed I am missing out on?

Appreciate any suggestion / info!
Bob

3.10 MK rips a little faster than 3.03. However, if there are read problems on the disc, 3.03 stays longer at lower speeds and handles those problems better. In general I would suggest to flash LG BH16NS60 1.02 as also the guide says. This official firmware handles 3 layer UHD discs (>66 GB) better than friendly firmware. Friendly firmware has trouble reading those in and the drive sometimes makes really sick and scary noises.
