I haver just purchased this drive Pioneer BDR-XD08EMB-S

When I go to rip my Lord of the Rings Extended UHD's or any disc it saying "Can't read AACS VID from disc - most likely current AACS host certificate is revoked by your drive"

Could anybody help please?

If the drive was manufactured after December 2022, it is likely it has been locked out of doing UHD. Lots of discussion going on about that in topics that have "pioneer" in their subjects.

At present, no. There are people working on it, but nothing heard so far.

Yes, I meant with. Not in the business of squeezing a disc drive in a machine which was designed to not accommodate such a device.
