Is LG BH12LS38 UHD friendly ?

Hi i am very new to blue-ray backing up.
i found a blue-ray PC drive at work today and have got a couple of UHD bluerays i was wondering if anyone knew if a LG BH12LS38 could be flashed to read 4k disks.
the drive its self is manufacured mid 2011.
any advise would be greatly apreciated.
