Any idea when the Pioneer cross-flashing tool will be public?

Hi, I know there are sellers including asmcom that offer cross-flashed Pioneer drives using a as of now private tool. Does anybody have an idea of when we can expect a public release of this tool. I'm more of a DIY person when it comes to computers and would like the opportunity to flash my own drive. Thanks.
