Can you rip UHD on a newer processor 12th 13th Gen cpu
If no could you have a movie ripped on an older system that's totaly compatable could you use that rip and play on a newer 12/13th Gen intel cpu or will stuff not play/rip without sgx period

The CPU doesn't matter for ripping with MakeMKV. It only matters if you want to do 'official playback' from a disc in your optical drive. Once you rip with MakeMKV, all the DRM is gone.
