Which UHD drive is the fastest at ripping?

I currently have a BU40N flashed to MK1.03, it seems to top out at 25.8M/s (6.0X). Are there any drives that go faster than that for ripping movies/TV from 4K Blu-Ray?

Maybe. But consider you lucky if you don't have any ripping errors. Therefore just leave it alone.

Some desktop drives can achieve 8x, however the BU40N at 6x is still the fastest at ripping 4K.
This is because the BU40N maintains it's 6x speed during ripping far longer than the desktop drives do at 8x. Those desktop drives (using WH16NS60 firmware) can reach 8x but do not stay there for very long at all. They are constantly fluctuating between 4x-8x. The BU40N generally rips most discs a few minutes quicker than the other drives.
