so it looks like i flashed the wrong image >.< to the BU40N. any way to recover this? or is the drive totally bricked?

should have done makemkvcon64.exe f --all-yes -d F: rawflash enc -i \t\HL-DT-ST-BD-RE_BU40N-1.03-NM00000-211810241934.bin instead of using the wrong image...>.>

any way to recover? i get an error when trying to reflash drive....

is the tray open? thats what makemkv is complaining about

nope. the tray is closed. pushing the button makes the light blink but the tray doesn't eject. i can put a paper clip in the tray and force it open but it still doesn't recognize inserted discs
