MakeMKV says it is as ready as it's going to be.

You cannot rip UHD using BP50NB40 firmware. It is not capable. You now need to cross-flash it to BP60NB10 1.00-MK firmware.
Cheers :D

Where is “BP60NB10 1.00-MK” at? And when I do find it do I use SDFtool Flasher?

I said BP60NB10 1.00-MK, not 1.02-MK.

Anyway, when you press OK on the handshke message does it work?
Is your drive SVC NB40, NB50 or NB52?
Cheers :D

Okay so I found the 1.00 version and it did the same thing. When I press okay it flashes something but nothing changes. NB52

NB52 is the issue. It can be done just a slightly different way.

1. Select the RECOVERY option in SDFtool flasher.
2. Choose the current BP50NB40 1.03-MK firmware in the popup.
3. Select the BP60NB10 firmware in the normal drop box.
4. START

If it still doesn't work, do the same again but check the "boot loader" box. Let me know how you go.
Cheers :D

I'm in the same boat with the same drive. It worked, flashed it up to 60NB10 successfully. MAKEMKV says it's all good yet the disc tray won't open and MAKEMKV can't access it. I tried reflashing it every way mentioned on this site. Nope.

I do not want to toss a good drive. Help please.

@Astrogoth64, @FatNFuri0us1,

Here is the complete process that has worked for a BP50NB40 with SVC NB52.

1. Flash the drive to BP50NB40 1.03-MK.
2. Flash the drive again to BP50NB40 1.03-MK, this time checking the "bootloader" box.

Now for the crossflash:

3. Select the RECOVERY option and in the pop up, select the BP50NB40 1.03-MK firmware that you just flashed.
4. Select the BP60NB10 1.00-MK firmware in the normal drop box.
5. Click START
Cheers :D

Ill take any advice you have. Mine is stuck at 60/10 1.02 and wont flash to a lower firmware or recover. No errors mentioned but no drive access and no disc drawer opening either.

Thanks

Get the auto flasher. It worked like a charm for only $25
