LG WH16NS40 - Downgraded to 1.02MK - Sleep Bug Fix to 1.01MK

Hello,
I just bought a LG WH16NS40 and successfully downgraded to 1.02MK. Everything is working fine except while ripping a UHD disc, it will stop spinning half-way and the only solution is to eject the disc. I know this is called the sleep bug and the recommended option is to downgrade to 1.01MK for MakeMKV.
But my question is what do I lose from downgrading from 1.02 to 1.01?

Show us your makemkv drive info
Stalling at the layer break half way is usually a sign of a bad drive.
That's not the sleep bug the sleep bug does not happen while the drive is ripping

First thing to try is clean the discs
Then replace them
Then if it still happens clean the laser
After that time for a BU40N
