BW-16D1HT - Disable Caching

Good day,
Is there a way to disable caching on the Asus BW-16D1HT?
I want to read audio discs with this drive.
For this I use Exact Audio Copy. Disabling the cache would double the reading speed. I don't care about the rest of the features.
If hardware modifications are necessary and someone can tell me how to do it, it's no problem. Can the cache be desoldered?
