Seems with my ASUS BW-16D1HT drive, every time I rip certain discs, once it get towards the middle of the disc it starts to slow down fast and fail. I've noticed that with a lot of discs lately. I clean them but still no results. Any solutions one might have or reason to why this is happening?

1.15.3 added the behavior to slow down the drive speed "not only on errors, but also around disc edges and layer breaks."
